Huey P. Newton was a political activist who co-founded the
Black Panther Party, a militant African-American activist
group. He was the author of To Die for the People: The
Writings of Huey P. Newton, War against the Panthers:
A Case of Repression in America and Revolutionary Suicide.
He was later killed during a dispute with a drug dealer.
