Donate your used books

While Internet Accuracy Project possesses a substantial private reference database, donations of books are greatly appreciated. Donations of biographies and autobiographies are always welcome, no matter how old, or in what condition they may be.

Internet Accuracy Project works to improve the accuracy of the reference sources we all rely on, both online and off. Our organization is also dedicated to the free presentation of thoroughly-vetted educational materials. By donating biographies, autobiographies and reference books you no longer need, you enable the pertinent factual data they contain to be utilized by our researchers and once verified, made available to the widest possible audience, entirely free of charge.

We would never want to discourage you from donating books to your local library. Internet Accuracy Project has no use for donations of novels, children's books, screenplays, or romance novels and encourages you to donate these books to your local library. Donations of reference books, biographies, and autobiographies are another matter. Rather than being of benefit to just a handful of patrons at a local library, the data they contain can assist thousands around the world.

Our research and educational efforts are made possible through the generosity of donors.

Keep in mind that the condition of the books you donate is of no concern whatsoever.

Other reference materials sought

Local county history accounts
Many county historical societies publish accounts of local pioneer history with biographies of prominent local individuals. We welcome the donation of these publications, be they pioneer history from 150 years ago, or a more recent account of local county history. Internet Accuracy Project also encourages the donation of genealogy books offering in-depth details on prominent individuals and their ancestors.

Historic Newspapers
We also welcome donations of historic newspapers (covering major historical events or historic deaths). Even souvenir copies of historic newspapers are welcome. Consider donating surplus office supplies, old office furniture, postage, and old computer equipment.

Government Documents
If you have access to biographical source info, such as celebrity birth certificates, celebrity death certificates, or marriage certificates for individuals of accomplishment, please consider sending us photocopies.

Internet Accuracy Project never discards donated goods, even if they duplicate equipment we already have. All goods are utilized in some way to support our organization.

Internet Accuracy Project is an all-volunteer organization and our visitors are never charged to read our content. Our site is completely free of commercial advertising, so we derive no income from advertising banners, or pop-up ads commonly found at other sites. Internet Accuracy Project understands they're just annoying, bothersome and time-consuming when you're trying to complete your research. This also means we are dependent on donations to continue our pioneering efforts to improve the accuracy of reference sources, both online and off.

Our future depends on your support. Help us make the Internet a more accurate experience for all and stop the spread of erroneous information, both online and off. Your support also helps ensure fast, free, reliable site access that is free of unwanted advertising. Thank you for your support.
