William Lyon Phelps |
|
William Lyon Phelps was an American writer, journalist,
literary critic and columnist of A Daily Thought fame.
He was professor of English at Yale University (1901-33),
and he also taught at Harvard (1891-1901). Professor Phelps
was the author of As I Like It, Robert Browning,
A Dash at the Pole, Essays on Modern Novelists,
Adventures and Confessions, and The Beginnings of
the English Romantic Movement.
