Lillian Disney

Lillian Disney was an American philanthropist who donated $50 million to build a world-class concert hall for the people of Los Angeles (Walt Disney Concert Hall). She was responsible for helping name the cartoon character Mickey Mouse and was the wife of, and advisor to, Disney founder, Walt Disney.

Error corrections or clarifications

* A few sources erroneously report "Beverly Hills" as her place of death. In point of fact, she died in the Disney home a few blocks west of Beverly Hills, just south of Bel Air, in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles.
